Semliki Safari Lodge Location and Overview
Semliki Safari Lodge is situated in Semliki Valley Wildlife Reserve in the Western Rift Valley, close to Semliki Forest National Park. The lodge is the only safari accommodation facility in over 500 square kilometres of pristine wilderness. Guests enjoy a panoramic view across the reserve, park, rift valley, lofty mountains, savannahs and forests.

Accommodation
The lodge’s accommodation is informed of 10 large canvas tents under permanent thatched roofs. The tents are spacious and elegantly furnished with comfortable beds covered with soft fleece blankets, and wooden floors overlaid with Persian carpets. All the tents have good electric lighting, power outlets for charging gadgets, ensuite bathrooms with a supply of both hot and cold water, and private verandas looking out to the forest reserve.
Restaurant, bar and lounge
The lodge prides in serving delicious homemade dishes made by professional and experienced chefs. There is a supply of freshly baked bread every morning, savoury soups and chutneys served during lunch and dinner. The restaurant also has a provision for Bush breakfasts and packed lunches for guests going out for safari adventures.
Semliki Safari Lodge has a fully stocked bar with a variety of beverages including liquors, beers, wines, spirits, sodas, and water. Coffee, tea, and juice are also prepared on request. The lodge has a number of where guests can sit and enjoy their drinks.
The invitingly cosy lounge is one of the most appealing places for guests to relax and unwind while they sip on a glass of wine, cocktail or any other choice beverage. The lounge has a library where you can pick any book of your choice, the warmth emanating from the lit fireplace will make you want to sit in the lounge all day long.
Swimming pool
Semliki Safari Lodge has a clean and well-maintained swimming pool where you can dive for a swim any time you want, it could be in the early morning as you begin your adventures in Semliki, or in the hot afternoon to cool off, and in the evening to relax and unwind after an exerting hike or chimpanzee trekking excursion.
Electricity supply
Semliki Safari Lodge has a supply of electricity in all its facilities including good lighting and power outlets for charging in its canvas tents. Cases of power blackouts are unheard of in Semliki Safari Lodge. The facility is the ideal choice for travellers who prioritize comfort during their safari tours even in a typical African wilderness.
Running water
The lodge has a provision of running water in all its facilities including both hot and cold water in the ensuite bathrooms. Housekeeping and cleaning are done regularly to ensure a commendable hygiene. Guests can have a bath and clean up whenever they want using a generous water supply.
