Gorilla Mist Camp Location

Gorilla Mist Camp is located on the South-western wing of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the Ruhija region where the gorilla families of Oruzogo, Bitukura, and Kyanguliro abide. The camp is situated on top of a hill offering stunningly beautiful view of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the Virunga mountains. The camp is located within a 5-minutes drive to the park headquarters.

Gorilla Mist Camp Overview

Gorilla Mist Camp is a modest safari accommodation comprised of four thatched roof cottages with balconies overlooking the valley, forests and mountains. The camp has 8 comfortably furnished rooms with single, twin and double beds. Each room has an ensuite bathroom, a wardrobe, mosquito net and balcony overlooking the forest. The camp also has well maintained terraces for those who have their own equipment to camp.

Well furnished cottages

The cottages have rooms which are well furnished and decorated using local materials which are eco-friendly and give you the taste of a natural and clean environment. All the rooms are fitted with bathtubs, showers, warm and cold water.

Gorilla Mist, has a restaurant that serves local, continental and exotic dishes. Meals can be enjoyed within the restaurant or can be had from outdoors at the lounge’s patio.

The camp has a fully stocked bar serving alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic beverages. You can order a beer, wine, gin, spirit, soda, water, juice, from the local list or the exotic brands.

Terraces for camping

The beautiful Gorilla Mist Camp has well-levelled terraces for the avid naturalist who enjoys the outdoors. Tents can be setup and a bonfire can be lit on request to camp in the wild overnight.

Gorilla Mist, has a supply of solar electricity which provides light in all its facilities. While at the camp, you have the benefit of recharging your phone and other gadgets.
