15 Days Uganda experience safari gives you an insight of the popular attractions and activities in Uganda. The 15 days trip starts from Entebbe International Airport with a knowledgeable driver guide taking you all through the trip. From Entebbe, you will visit Lake Mburo national park for game drives to view wildlife like buffaloes, zebras, oribis, leopards and many more.
Later on, you head to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for gorilla trekking. Depart from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park through ishasha sector viewing the rare tree climbing lions. While at Queen Elizabeth National Park you will have game drives viewing several wildlife species including some on the big five and have a boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
From there you later head to Kibale Forest National Park home to several primates, do chimpanzee tracking, watch monkeys and do bird watching. Depart from Kibale Forest to Murchison Falls National Park for another wildlife experience, launch cruise on the Nile viewing crocodiles and hippos. 15 Days Uganda Safari Experience – Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to hotel
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our company guide and be briefed about your 15 Days Uganda experience safari and then transferred for an overnight in a booked hotel of preference.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, prepare to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the equator point for photography. On arrival at the park, you have lunch, and then go for a game drive in search of the beautiful impalas, elands, topi and many antelopes, buffaloes, zebras. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of your preference

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
After breakfast, you have another game drive in the park in search of more wildlife and the abundant wealth of birdlife. After the game drive, have lunch and then transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park. The choice of the area / sector of the gorilla safari depends on the availability and allocation of the permits at the time of booking.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest
This morning you enter the rain tropical forest of Bwindi for gorilla trekking. The activity starts at 8 am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas which was allocated during the time of briefing. Ensure you take the packed lunch and water with you in a zip lock bag since gorilla trekking involves hiking and takes an unpredictable time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel stayed in the night before.

Day 5: Batwa cultural experience / second gorilla trekking experience
In the morning after breakfast, prepare to take on this amazing experience with the Batwa people who are a primitive and interesting group of people who were inhabitants of the forest for hundreds of years living in harmony with the mountain gorillas. The experience is a great adventure as you get to learn the way of life and culture of the indigenous Batwa pygmies who largely depended on hunting and fruit gathering for survival. After the activity, you have lunch then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as night before.
Alternatively, this day is also reserved for a second gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is suitable for travelers who would opt for double gorilla trekking rather than the gorilla habituation experience which is more expensive.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector
On this day prepare to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector famed for the tree-climbing lions. You will have lunch in the ishasha area then continue with an evening game drive through the ishasha sector n search of the tree climbing lions. You continue with the game drive as you spot several wildlife species at sunset. Arrive at booked hotel in time for dinner.

Day 7: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early morning breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive to the north of the park where the Savannah grasslands are with the rare leopard, elephants, Uganda kob, genets, lions, giant forest hogs, bushbucks, spotted hyenas, and many more. Return to the lodge for lunch and head to the Kazinga channel for a boat cruise.
The Kazinga channel has over 60 species of birds including pelicans, Darters, Shoebill among others, making it a birder’s paradise. Experience the spectacular sunsets on the boat ride and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the previous nights’ hotel/lodge.
Return by dusk to your lodge for dinner as the night before

Day 8: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park and visit Bigodi wetland
After breakfast drive to Fort Portal the capital town of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains, the highest mountain ranges in Africa. You have lunch in the afternoon then proceed to Bigodi Wetland sanctuary and visit the eco-tourism site of Bigodi for village walk. Bigodi is also another spot of interest to watch a variety of birds including the endemic Albertine Rift bird species as well as the forest primates. Arriving in the evening, you have dinner and overnight at the lodge of preference.

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking and visit the Kasenda crater lakes
After an early breakfast, you’ll have briefing session by the park officials and later set off to the rainforest on the chimpanzee tracking adventure. You will enjoy the trek while experiencing the rain tropical forest as well as sighting several bird species and other primates. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to explore the region of the Kasenda Crater lakes with panoramic points and sceneries. You will have dinner and overnight at the previous night’s hotel/lodge.

Day 10: Transfer from Kibale to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, your adventure continues up North by driving through Hoima and along the Albertine region. You pass via Hoima the capital town of Bunyoro kingdom and through sugarcane, tea, banana, coffee and cocoa plantations. You will have Lunch en route then , Dinner and overnight at the lodge of your preference.

Day 11: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls
By sunrise, your Uganda wildlife tour guide will pick you up for a transfer to the park for a morning game drive. With beautiful sights of the morning sunrise, you head out for the game drive with your safari guide, lasting about 2-4hours. During the game drive, you have chances of seeing wildlife species like Buffaloes, Elephants, Lions, Leopards and the Rothschild Giraffes.
After the game drive, you have a lunch break and then transfer to the boat cruise start point for a great 2 hours cruise on the Nile waters. The boat cruise takes cruises past numerous hippopotami down to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls. From the bottom of the falls you later hike to the top of the falls and witness the mesmerizing area where the river squeezes through a narrow gorge and thuds down in beautiful gashes of water. Day 12: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast, the trip proceeds northwards to Kidepo Valley National Park. This park is known as one of the most stunning places to visit, named after the seasonal Kidepo River traversing this region at the border between Sudan and Kenya. This is one of the most unspoiled, pure wild places remaining in Africa. You will have lunch en route then continue with the drive arriving in time for dinner and overnight at the lodge of preference.

Day 13: Game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast you take the first photographic game drives along the trails of the national park and expect to explore the region of the river Narus valley. Kidepo contains one of the most exciting faunas of any Ugandan parks, with over 80 species of mammals several of which restricted only to Kidepo, like a cheetah, striped hyena and caracal. The bird list boasts over 465 species. You return for lunch at your hotel then after embark on a nother evening game drive within the park.
Alternatively, apart from the game drive, on request, you can visit the local Karimojong homestead or “manyattas” outside of the park. In the evening, you will have dinner and overnight at the previous night hotel/lodge.

Day 14: Morning game drive and transfer to Kitgum
This morning after breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive through the park to encounter Zebras, Giraffes, and many more that roam the short grassland plains of the Narus valley. After the game drive, you return for lunch at the lodge. After lunch you then embark on the drive to Kitgum town arriving in the evening. You spend the night in Kitgum town.

Day 15: Transfer from Kitgum to Entebbe International Airport for departure
This land day of your 5 days safari to Kidepo, you have breakfast then embark on the road drive back to Kampala or to Entebbe International Airport. You will have lunch in Masindi then continue to Kampala or to the Airport arriving in the evening. Departure flights are for the late evening.
