Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to a booked hotel
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport your Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls safari guide will be there to welcome you to the country. After meeting and greeting with him/her, you then embark on a drive to a booked lodging facility in Kampala-Uganda’s capital. On arrival, you check in, have dinner and spend the night here.

Drive time: 1 – 2 hours drive
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and track rhinos en-route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Early morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your place of residence in Kampala. On your tour guides’ arrival, you meet and greet then embark on the 282km drive to Murchison Falls National Park. After about 2.5 hours drive from Kampala you reach Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you tour for an almost 2 hours Rhino tracking experience. This is the only place where Rhinos are conserved in Uganda and you can go Rhino tracking along with the whole family. After Rhino tracking, you have lunch in Masindi and then embark on a drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Arriving in the evening, you check in and spend the night at an earlier on booked preferred accommodation facility.

Drive time: Approximately 6 – 7 hours drive
Day 3: Morning game drive and evening boat cruise at Murchison Falls Park
By sunrise, your Uganda wildlife tour guide will pick you up for a transfer to the park for a morning game drive. With beautiful sights of the morning sunrise, you head out for the game drive with your safari guide, lasting about 2-4hours. During the game drive, you have chances of seeing wildlife species like Buffaloes, Elephants, Lions, Leopards and the Rothschild Giraffes (the highest population in the world).
After the game drive, you have a lunch break and then transfer to the boat cruise start point for a great 2 hours cruise on the Nile waters. The boat cruise takes cruises past numerous hippopotami down to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls.

Day 4: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to fort portal town
After an early breakfast you then proceed with a drive to Fort Portal town traversing along the Great Rift Valley and the Rwenzori Mountain ranges seen on the drive. You will have lunch en–route.
Arriving in the evening, you check in, have dinner and spend the night at a booked accommodation. This is a detour location to cut up the long transfer from Murchison Falls National Park up to Queen Elizabeth Park which can last up to 12 hours.

Travel time: 7- 8 hours.
Day 5: Transfer from fort portal to Queen Elizabeth National Park
At your lodging facility you’ll have breakfast then embark on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch and later prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. With a chance to sight several aquatic species and other mammals you then return to your lodging facility for a nights’ stay.

Midrange: Drive time: 3 – 4 hours.
Day 6: Game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha Sector
This morning after your early breakfast, have another game drive in the North of the park and have a chance to spot the Uganda Kobs, elephants, lions, and later after lunch, depart the northern side of the park and drive southwards to the Ishasha sector the area famed for the tree climbing lions. As you drive through, you may see wildlife and also tree climbing lions. Spend the rest of the evening with another game drive.

Drive time: 2 – 3 hours.
Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe International Airport
On this last day of your trip, you have breakfast and then embark on the drive back to Entebbe International Airport for a departure or way forward flight.
